Complete rental agreement and policies
1. Company Information and Legal Basis
These Terms and Conditions govern the rental services provided by NeoPixel s.r.o. ("Company", "we", "us"), a limited liability company incorporated under Slovak law. Company registration: IČO 47079908, DIČ 2023793387, IČ DPH SK2023793387 (registered under §4 from 20.1.2023). Registered office: Wuppertálska 57, 040 23 Košice, Slovakia. 2. Service Description and Geographic Limitations
Screen4Rent provides professional monitor rental services exclusively within Košice, Slovakia. We offer 24" and 27" monitors with complete delivery, setup guidance, and pickup services. Exact models may vary based on current stock; the advertised screen size and resolution class are always guaranteed. All equipment is professionally maintained and sanitized between rentals. Service availability is subject to equipment stock and delivery capacity.
3. Booking and Advance Requirements
All rental orders must be placed at least 3 days in advance of the desired delivery date. Minimum rental period is 5 days. Orders are subject to equipment availability and delivery scheduling. We reserve the right to decline orders that cannot be fulfilled within our service parameters or geographic limitations.
4. Payment Terms and Pricing
All prices are listed in EUR and include 23% VAT (DPH). Payment is processed securely through Stripe payment platform. Full rental payment plus security deposit is required before equipment delivery. We accept major credit and debit cards. Base daily rates: 24" monitor €2/day, 27" monitor €3/day. Volume discounts apply for longer rentals as displayed during booking.
5. Security Deposits
Security deposits are required: €50 for 24" monitors, €75 for 27" monitors. Deposits are held during the rental period and fully refunded within 5-7 business days after equipment return, provided no damage or additional charges apply. Deposits may be used to cover repair costs, replacement fees, or late return penalties.
6. Quality Control and Equipment Standards
We take equipment quality seriously. All monitors undergo comprehensive quality testing and professional sanitation before and after each rental. Equipment is delivered in excellent working condition. Any damages, losses, or failures to return equipment will result in repair or replacement costs charged to the customer. Customers are responsible for basic care and protection during the rental period.
7. Delivery and Pickup Terms
We provide free delivery and pickup within Košice city limits during standard business hours (9:00-20:00). Preferred time slots can be selected during booking: Morning (09:00-12:00), Afternoon (13:00-16:00), or Evening (17:00-20:00). Customers must be available at the specified address during the delivery window. Delivery address changes may incur additional fees.
8. Rental Period and Extensions
Rental periods begin on the delivery date and end on the scheduled pickup date. If you need to extend your rental period, contact us in advance - we'll accommodate extensions subject to availability. Unapproved delays or failure to return equipment on time may result in additional daily charges at 1.5x the standard rate plus potential penalty fees.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48+ hours before delivery: Full refund minus 5% processing fee. Cancellations made 24-47 hours before delivery: 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery: No refund. Weather-related or force majeure cancellations will be handled case-by-case with potential rescheduling or full refund.
10. Refund Policy
Rental payments are non-refundable once equipment is delivered, except in cases of equipment failure or company-related delivery issues. Security deposits are refunded within 5-7 business days after equipment return. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Processing fees may apply for payment reversals or dispute-related refunds.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must: (1) Be 18+ years old and provide valid identification; (2) Handle equipment with reasonable care; (3) Use monitors in indoor, climate-controlled environments only; (4) Not attempt repairs or modifications; (5) Report damage or issues immediately; (6) Be available for pickup at scheduled time; (7) Ensure equipment security during rental period.
12. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties beyond what is required by Slovak consumer protection law. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or business losses arising from equipment use. Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with specific software/hardware configurations.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with GDPR and Slovak data protection laws. Customer information is collected for rental service provision, payment processing (via Stripe), and communication purposes. Data is stored securely and not shared with third parties except as required for service delivery. Customers have rights to access, correct, or delete their data by contacting info@screen4rent.sk.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government restrictions, transportation strikes, or equipment supplier issues. In such cases, we will work to reschedule services or provide appropriate compensation.
15. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Slovak law. Disputes will be resolved through Slovak courts with jurisdiction in Košice. We encourage customers to contact us first at info@screen4rent.sk to resolve any issues. Alternative dispute resolution may be pursued through Slovak consumer protection agencies or EU online dispute resolution platform.
